Discover Music: Interact with Background Music Player in Supported Venues
Discover Music is an Android app developed by Imagesound Musicstyling, available for free. This app allows you to interact with the background music player in supported venues. It is location aware, so you must be inside a supported venue to use the app. Once inside, you can see what's currently playing and what's up next, as well as view a selection of the venue's current music playlist. You can also request a track to play, free of charge, and see if it gets accepted. The app will notify you when your requested track will play.
In addition, you can buy tracks from the venue's playlist via iTunes referral, rate tracks which will be posted to the venue music suppliers, and preview tracks before requesting by listening to the first few seconds. However, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
